Osteopathic Education
Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
At South Nassau, osteopathic principles and practice are emphasized throughout your training. Our goal is for you to build upon your osteopathic training from medical school and practically apply osteopathic manipulative treatment in the clinical setting. Osteopathic trainees have incorporated OMM in their treatment plans where they can perfect their manual skills in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. OMM lectures and workshops help reinforce previous knowledge as well as present new techniques. In short, OMM is taught in a manner that promotes not only competence, but confidence as well.
