Our Program
Our ACGME accredited Transitional Year Residency began February 2014 after Hurricane Sandy led to the closure of a Transitional Year Residency (formerly Traditional Rotating Internship) at Long Beach Medical Center. We are currently ACGME accredited.
More than 250 medical students perform clinical clerkships here each year. Students of nursing, pharmacy, and other allied health professions rotate through the hospital as well. The combination of a large and active medical staff, commitment to medical education, outstanding facilities, and a friendly atmosphere provide an excellent opportunity for learning.
