Biography
A specialist in both coronary and peripheral interventional procedures, Dr. Freeman has been active in research on stenting in acute myocardial infarction as well as peripheral arterial interventions. A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Freeman has served as an assistant professor of medicine at Hofstra University.
Dr. Freeman was also the program director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program at NSUH-Manhasset. He served on the board of the American Heart Association – Long Island Region, and is a clinical council member of the American Heart Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
