Biography
Dr. Cohen was born in 1960 and grew up in Brooklyn. He has been in practice since 1989. After graduating summa cum laude from Brooklyn College in 1981, he attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating in 1985 as a member of the honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his medical internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City in 1986 and his dermatology residency at the NYU Medical Center in 1989.
Dr. Cohen devotes his time to both general dermatology, laser and cosmetic dermatology. He has special interest in psoriasis, and treatment of aging skin.
He is currently the chief of dermatology at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside New York. He is also assistant attending of dermatology at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City.
