Andrew M. Goldstein, MD
Internal Medicine
Dr. Goldstein obtained a medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and completed a residency and internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Goldstein's Professional Organizations include: American Medical Association, NY State Medical Association and Nassau County Medical Society.
Cynthia Lamour, DO
Family Medicine, Dipl. of ABOM
Dr. Lamour is a board-certified Family Practice physician. She received her Bachelors of Science from Cornell University and her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. She completed a three-year residency training in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY. She is also board certified in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. This certification as an ABOM diplomate signifies specialized knowledge in the practice of obesity medicine and recognizes Dr. Lamour as having achieved competency in obesity care.
Dr. Lamour’s professional organizations include the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Sherry Megalla, MD, FACC, FASE
Noninvasive Cardiologist
Dr. Megalla is board-certified in cardiology, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and vascular ultrasound. She graduated with a bachelor's degree, Cum Laude, from New York University and obtained a medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center/Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center.
Prior to joining South Nassau, Dr. Megalla was the Director of CHF, Coumadin Clinic and Cardiology Research Division at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was also an Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Megalla is an accomplished researcher and lecturer.
Carolyne McHyman, DO
Family Practice
Dr. McHyman is a board-certified Family Practice physician who joined South Nassau in September 2008. She received her Bachelors of Science from Tulane University and obtain her D.O. degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. McHyman completed her residency training at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and subsequently practiced in New York City. She relocated to Florida and was the Medical Director of the Broward Community & Family Health Center for a number of years before returning to the Long Island area.
Audrey Paulssen-Soranno, DO
Internal Medicine
Dr. Paulssen-Soranno joined the staff of South Nassau in March 2009 with twenty-four years' experience in Internal Medicine. She obtain her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. PaulssenSoranno then completed an internship for one year at Peninsula General Hospital, followed by a three-year residency program studying Internal Medicine at the then-Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
