Welcome to South Nassau
About Your Stay
Providing superior, quality patient care is at the center of all we do here at South Nassau. We are dedicated to making your time with us as comfortable as possible, providing you with the state-of-the-art health services you need, together with the compassionate care you deserve.
At South Nassau, our patient-centered initiatives include programs and activities designed to not only ensure we’re providing a high standard of care to all our patients, but also to meet the special needs of the communities we serve.
Established to ensure that all patients and their families receive the quality care, respect and attention they deserve, our Patient Relations program works to assist patients while they navigate the health care system processes and to resolve concerns about any aspect of their health care experience.
With personal assistance available in both English and Spanish, our professionals are readily available to discuss patient or family member anxieties, answer questions and resolve problems. To speak with a Patient-Relations representative, call 632-3414. For bilingual assistance, call 632-3484.
If you do have a quality concern, please contact the Performance Improvement Department at 516-632-3890.
Our aim is to help make your stay with us the best it can possibly be. If hospital staff cannot resolve the concern or issue, you may contact the New York State Department of Health at the toll-free number 1-800-804-5447 or file a complaint in writing to :
